How can I order?
We offer you two ways to shop with us.
Ready To Ship: If you're in a hurry, and flexible on what colours or styles you're after we do offer a limited range of Ready to Ship products online. These products are already made and dyed and can be shipped usually within 3-5 days.
Custom Pre-Order: Majority of our orders are done as a custom pre-order. Don't stress though, this doesn't mean you'll be waiting forever, or that it has to be complicated! Most of our custom orders can be completed and in the post within 7-14 days, and all you have to do is add your size to the cart and tell us in the check out notes what kinds of colours you want your goodies created with. If we don't understand or want to double check with you we'll reach out to you first!
How long will my order take to reach me?
Ready to Ship orders are posted within 3-5 days. Australia Post can take 2-5 days then to reach you in most areas of Australia.
Custom Pre-Orders orders are posted within 7-14 days. Australia Post can take 2-5 days then to reach you in most areas of Australia. Occasionally if you are ordering from our extended size range (3XL - 5XL) it can take us a little longer to receive your blank - we'll keep you informed of any delays should they occur.
What colours do you offer?
We have loads of different colours! Please remember that as we are creating small batch designs that no two pieces will be the same as they are all unique! You can check our Colour Chart for some examples of the colours we offer, or also check on our Instagram feed for some of our existing work. Let us know in the check out notes what you'd like your piece to like.
What dye do you use?
We use non-toxic permanent cold water dyes. These dyes actually bond with natural fibres, which means your colours will be long lasting as rather than sitting on top of the fibres of your clothing, they actually merge! (Science is cool right?). Our non-toxic dyes have very little impact on the environment, and are safe to be worn on for sensitive skin.
What materials do you use?
Tie Dying professionally requires garments to have a very high natural fibre count. The most common natural fibre you'll find in our garments is cotton! Cotton is a fantastic fabric to work with as it can provide warmth as well as breathe enough to keep you cool.
How should I care for my Colour Society clothing?
All of our orders come with Instructions for Care on a handy little flyer - keep this safe and make sure that you follow them carefully. All of our products will retain their colours provided you follow these instructions. Always use a cold wash in your machine, and wash your garments with like-coloured clothing. Never tumble dry your clothes (or the cotton will make them shrink!) and avoid drying in front of a heater that will heat up your clothing too much. They dry best on the line outside where possible, and what a great opportunity to show off your colourful wardrobe to the neighbours!
Can I pick up locally?
Due to COVID19, we don't currently offer a pick up service. Sorry!
Can I come and see what you have available and Ready to Ship?
If you'd like to shop with us in person you'll need to find us at one of our market dates! We share these on our Social Media, so be sure to follow us there for more information on where you can find us.
Where do your clothes come from?
As we stock a wide range of garments, we use multiple suppliers for our clothing - some you'll be familiar with and other's not. The clothes we use to create our brights come from here there and everywhere - a lot of the pieces are made overseas, and often using Australian Cotton.
Do you have a size chart?
To ensure that we are providing an affordable an inclusive size range we source our blanks from various suppliers with different size charts. Size charts are available in the image section of most products - if you can't see them there, simply send us a message and we'll forward you what you need!
Do you have AfterPay?
YES! Afterpay is available on all orders over $75.
